Greeting to all my friends. I've been blessed to see the bountiful age of 35. I consider it to be bountiful because I'm getting closer and closer to a new season daily. As I look back at my life I can see the blessings that God have bestowed upon me and my family. We are definitely blessed and highly favored. I generally don't write on this on-line journal but I feel that I am being led by God to share with everyone. I been told numerous times over the last few months that I make a great counselor. I don't know about great but I tell you what I am led to tell you and just hope that something that I say will make a difference in what you are going through.
I was watching a gospel program this morning and the minister was talking abut walking into your season, having faith and trusting that God will do what He said He will. I certainly believe that if He will bring me to it that He will bring me through it. I believe in the divine power of God and the miracles that He can and will work in my lives. I was reminded of the story of the woman that had been sick for so long and she was at the end of her ropes. She simply told herself that all she needed to do was touch the hem of His (Jesus) garment and she believed that she would be healed. In doing so, she was automatically healed and although Jesus couldn't see who touched Him -He knew that someone had as the anointed ran through His body.
Expectations- we all have them. The teacher broke expectations down into three categories: desired, verbal, and sustained expectations. Desired expectations are those expectation that we want, that we pray and ask God for. Bring all your request and expectations to God in prayers. Verbal expectations is verbally expressing on a continual basis the blessings and anticipations that you want God to provide to you. It is written throughout the Bible that our words determine what we have. The minister clearly stated that our words sculpt our world. It's now time to reword our request to God by saying "Lord I believe that you will......" I truly believe this because I'm constantly saying that God has a sense of humor and with Him we must be specific in our request and believe that He will deliver what we have asked for. The final expectation is Sustained expectations which simply consist of not giving up or quitting. We have to pray without ceasing. Being a solider in God's army requires that we continually prayer and even intercede on the behalf of others. This journal entry has made a difference for me and I hope that it touch and bless the person reading it now. May God continue to bless you and yours.
